I'm guessing Pedro being back in Boston and his performance (good or bad) makes the back pages. But Lupica will totally have a column about A-Rod saying "it doesn't make up for the fact that he doesn't have a ring and sucks in the postseason" or "he could've done something big earlier in the game, but he didn't." Asshat.
Don't get me started on Lupica. It's been well documented here my opinion of his italian leprechaun napoleonic complex jealous absolute shit journalism.
But I agree, I expect it to be no different than when he won the MVP and the back pages proclaimed "but no RINGS!!!!!11!"
I expect a "so what, he did it once he still sucks" response form most of the press.
