Ortiz is a sad story right now. If you didn't take any steroids and your going to deny doing it, why does it take you 5 days to prepare after the story is released, when you were asked so many times before then and had "no comment". A-Rod took the right road even though the whole truth wasn't revealed. Ortiz may end up going down as hated as Barry Bonds without the numbers to back him up.

At least Pettitte and A-Rod admitted what they did. That aside though, the big issue I have here is how ESPN and the media are mostly ignoring this - I mean the network was a 24 hour A-Roid Channel back in February.

What else is new? A lot of people, including teammates, don't like ARoid. I've hardly heard a negative thing said about Ortiz. ARoid is one of the most polarizing figures in sports.

ARoid & Pettitte lied just like Ortiz. And if you believe they admitted everything, you're drinking the koolaid. They admitted just enough to get people off their back. A liar is a liar even if they told the half truth. They are all in the same category and all just as bad.

A-Rod admitted using steroids. Pettitte admitted using HGH.

Ortiz sais he "et vibameens." Sorry, not the same thing.

They only admitted because they were caught. Yet they all still lied. Do you actually believe the final stories ARoid and Pettitte gave? If so, I have some ocean-front property in VT to sell you. Get off your pinstriped high horse. They're all phonies (Ortiz included).

If you still can't see the difference then I don't know what to tell you.

Yes, they were caught and fessed up. So was Ortiz, but he didn't.

They didn't fess up to anything. Pettitte said he used once (after he got caught). Then it was twice when it was found out that he had used again. Do you really believe is was only twice? It's just as bad as what Ortiz did. ARoid lied the whole way (except for the bit of truth he told about using with just the Rangers. 100% in my mind that he was using on the Yanks. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. That innocent "I was young and naive" act doesn't fool me.

All of them have lied in their official stories. A liar is a liar even if any of it is true.
