Fat Pussy Toad Update

Hideki Irabu is still trying to pitch, it seems.
Former New York Yankees pitcher Hideki Irabu was introduced as the newest member of the Kochi Fighting Dogs on Monday, saying his ultimate goal is a return to Japan’s top professional league.

“As long as I’m playing, I’ll aim for Japan’s top league,” the 40-year-old right-hander said at a media conference. “I have high expectations for myself.”
Shoulda stayed in Japan's top league to begin with, guy.

Reminds me of someone somewhere saying something like:

"Pitcher" Sterling Hitchcock, who has a job only because he can (purely theoretically) get out lefties,

And oh hey dija like Gammons' total noncriticism of kevin dickless' helmet-throwing. I've never wanted to physically harm that old a man before. It's fucking shameful- he's supposed to be an analyst and pseudo-journalist. At least *feign* objectivity occasionally. Even Joe Buck does that.

Nope, I missed Gammo. I rarely watch ESPN anymore thanks to the wonderful MLB Network. Oh, btw the take on MLB was that Cabrera getting hit was unintentional, Martinez getting buzzed was a message, and Youkilis getting hit was unintentional and that he should be suspended for 10 games for throwing the helmet.

he should be suspended 5 games just for charging the mound (isn't that standard?) PLUS 10 games for throwing the helmet. wtf.

the reaction of both the pitcher and the catcher to the dickless plunk would make it very plain to even the most casual observer that it was unintentional. self-important asshole
